Lieutenant Robert
Jeffcoat
I have been firefighting for 14 years
and currently serve as a Lieutenant at
Moncks Corner Rural.  I became a
firefighter to give back to the
community and help myself become a
better person.

I have learned many different
techniques for fighting fires through
many classes and experiences. It is not
just riding around in a BIG RED fire
truck; there is a lot of training and time
you have to put into it.  Firefighters are
a real close knit family, not just in your
company but worldwide.

I’ve had the following training: Interior
Certified Firefighter, Single Family
Dwellings, Tanker Shuttle, HAZMAT
Awareness, NIMS, and many others.

I am currently employed at Santee
Cooper, sit on the Board of Directors
for the Fire Department, own a private
business, and enjoy Boating and
saltwater fishing.
